The external dimensions should preferably not exceed 50×50×60 cm, and the gross weight of a single item should preferably not exceed 40 kg. The contents and padding materials should not leak out. They should be able to withstand the total weight of similar goods stacked 3 layers high.

Iron Drums: The thickness of the sheet metal should correspond to the weight of the contents. Small and medium-sized iron drums with a single gross weight of 25-100 kg should be made of 0.6-1.0 mm sheet metal, and large iron drums with a single gross weight of 101-180 kg should be made of 1.25-1.5 mm sheet metal.

In short, if you are going to ship by air, you need to know how to pack your goods to comply with air transport regulations, whether special packaging is required, or whether cardboard boxes should be used, etc. In this way, you will not be asked to repackage or improve the goods because the packaging does not meet the regulations.
