Air Freight Pricing Algorithm

Air freight from Shenzhen is more expensive than road or sea freight, but it's very fast and timely. The price calculation for air freight from Shenzhen depends on the destination, the weight of the goods, the type of cargo, and whether crating is required. The price is calculated as initial weight plus additional weight, and the specific price is determined by the destination city.

International routes offer two types of free baggage allowance: weight-based and piece-based.

Weight-based free baggage allowance: Based on the passenger's fare class, the free baggage allowance for each full-fare or half-fare passenger is as follows: First Class: 40 kg (88 lbs); Business Class: 30 kg (66 lbs); Economy Class (including tourist discounts): 20 kg (44 lbs). Infants traveling on tickets purchased at 10% of the full adult fare have no free baggage allowance.

The free baggage allowance is calculated per piece, based on the passenger's fare class. Each full-fare or half-fare passenger is entitled to two pieces of free baggage, with the sum of the length, width, and height of each piece not exceeding 158 cm (62 inches) and the weight not exceeding 32 kg. However, for passengers holding economy class tickets (including tourist discounts), the sum of the length, width, and height of their two pieces of baggage must not exceed 273 cm (117 inches). Infants who purchase tickets at 10% of the adult full-fare price have no free baggage allowance.
